The Gran Max Mobile Cafe Van is a Gran Max Pick-Up converted into a coffee or drinks van you trade from. The standard mobile cafe body costs RM99,174 on the road, including the RM21,669 body. It has a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox, and is built to order.

What is the Gran Max Mobile Cafe Van?
A mobile cafe van is a Gran Max Pick-Up with an enclosed body you serve from: a large side hatch opens upward as a canopy, and a counter folds down from the opening. Daihatsu's brochure names the mobile café as one of the Gran Max Pick-Up body applications.
Our build uses a luton-style body, so the section over the cab roof adds space for equipment, storage or signage. The price on this page is for our standard mobile cafe body; your layout and equipment are agreed before the build.

Before you order
- Serving aperture: it can be built on one side only, or on both sides (one-side or two-side opening). Tell us which side you trade from.
- Tell us what your setup needs (coffee machine, sink, water tank, gas); the auxiliary battery, breaker panel and ventilation shown are part of the build in the photos.
- Check trading licence requirements with your local council (PBT) before you start trading.
- Equipment and water add weight. Tell us your planned fit-out so we can advise on the body.
- The Pick-Up's gross vehicle weight is fixed at 2,100 kg, and the body you choose counts toward it. A heavier body leaves less weight for cargo than a plain steel deck. Your van's registered weights are set at the weighing and inspection, which is already in the OTR price.
- All bodies and custom changes are subject to Daihatsu HQ approval. Tell us your requirements and we submit them.
