The wooden cargo body is an open deck with wooden construction on the same Gran Max Pick-Up chassis. Daihatsu's brochure opens its Pick-Up section with it: from wooden cargo to mobile café to frozen food van.
It sits on the same 2,480 x 1,585 mm load deck as the steel body.

Before you order
- Choose by what you carry: steel for heavy, rough loads such as building materials; wood for a surface that is softer on produce, furniture and boxed goods.
- Wood needs more care than steel over the years: keep it dry where you can and replace worn boards.
- Cargo on an open deck is exposed to rain. If your goods must stay dry, compare the box van.
- The Pick-Up's gross vehicle weight is fixed at 2,100 kg, and the body you choose counts toward it. A heavier body leaves less weight for cargo than a plain steel deck. Your van's registered weights are set at the weighing and inspection, which is already in the OTR price.
